Two grieving brothers have spoken out after the death of their beloved mother, Janet Noon, a woman remembered not only for her warmth and kindness but also for her years of dedicated service as a Special Constable. They claim “catastrophic failings” at the care home where she spent her final days led to her tragic passing — and are now calling for accountability and reform in the care system and local council meant to protect society’s most vulnerable. Worse than not helping, the Norfolk Council obstructed the family's attempts to intervene. The council even obtained an injunction which prevented her sons from taking Ms. Noon out of her care home for 99 days – at a cost of over £30,000 to taxpayers, to take the family to the Court of Protection.
