The Union Reserve Deputy Association extended heartfelt thanks to the individuals, businesses, and organizations whose generous support made its recent banquet a success, underscoring the strong community backing behind the Reserve Deputies who serve Union Parish. In 2025 alone, Reserve Deputies contributed an estimated 2,500 service hours, handled more than 2,100 calls for service, issued nearly 600 citations, and made 69 arrests — a clear demonstration of their critical role in public safety. The association also recognized a major milestone for Lieutenant Chad Nolan, who marked 20 years of dedicated service, as well as Lt. Nolan and Sergeant Matthew Ford for commendable actions on New Year’s Eve that led to the recovery of multiple firearms. The association further expressed appreciation to Union Parish Sheriff, Dusty Gates for his continued support of the Reserve Division, which remains essential to its success and ongoing mission.
