POLICE! HELP ME!
Spanish parents walking in the City Park with their sixteen-month-old daughter desperately shouted for help after their child suddenly fainted and did not respond to anything. Responding to an alert broadcast on the police radio channel directing Police Medic-trained colleagues to the scene, a pair of patrol officers from Zugló and two civil guards were the first to arrive.
Sergeant Zsolt Stiller took the little girl from her mother. Her body was limp, her breathing and circulation had stopped, she showed no signs of life, and her heartbeat could not be felt. Civil guard János Gréczi (OPSZ - National Civil Guard Association) immediately began resuscitating the baby, while their colleague, Sergeant Bence Németh, called for a pediatric emergency unit.
Sergeant Stiller, holding the baby in his arms, took turns with civil guard Gréczi to restart her circulation, and thankfully, the little girl cried. However, when they put her in the car, her body went limp again, she fainted, showed no signs of life, and they could not feel her pulse. They resuscitated her again, and a minute later she cried again. To prevent another episode, they gently shook her legs, stimulated her chest, and continuously monitored her vital signs. Although they only had to wait five minutes for the ambulance to arrive, the most reassuring thing for them was the little girl's incessant crying.
The paramedics took her to the hospital in stable condition. Sergeant Stiller and Sergeant Németh ensured that they reached their destination as quickly and smoothly as possible with a police escort.
Little Candel has been doing well ever since. 🙏
Congratulations to the gentlemen!
