For over a decade, Ash has given his time, heart, and courage to the communities of South Cheshire—balancing his career as an HGV driver with nearly 5,000 volunteer hours as a Special Constable. From major public events to moments of real heroism, including rescuing a child from the River Weaver, Ash’s dedication has never gone unnoticed. Last night, his commitment was celebrated as he received the Special Constable of the Year award at Cheshire Police’s ACE Awards.
