Auxiliary Officer Calib D. Cunningham of the Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP) Findlay District has been named the 2025 State Auxiliary Officer of the Year, recognizing his outstanding volunteer service and unwavering commitment to public safety. Cunningham’s work supporting full-time troopers, engaging with community events, and assisting patrol operations exemplifies the invaluable role auxiliary officers play across Ohio.
At the same time, the OSHP is still actively recruiting new Auxiliary Officers, inviting community members to volunteer, give back, and enhance public safety through meaningful service alongside troopers. Whether assisting at traffic details, special events, or community outreach efforts, the auxiliary program offers a way for residents to make a direct impact while serving their communities.
