Retiring Stanislaus County Sheriff Lieutenant began his career 31 years ago as a reserve deputy.

Lt. Perez served as a patrol deputy, FTO, a detective, a sergeant and lieutenant. In addition he has been awarded multiple commendations and was named deputy of the Year in 2011.
