Bryan Clark, a 2023 DUI crash survivor who lost part of his leg and three fingers when an intoxicated driver struck his motorcycle at more than 100 mph, has been officially sworn in as a reserve police officer with the Bear Valley Police Department in Kern County, California. After surviving the life-altering collision and months of recovery, Clark’s return to law enforcement underscores both his personal resilience and his deep commitment to public safety. A former BNSF special agent and Arvin Police Department officer, Clark previously rejoined law enforcement as a reserve officer during his recovery — and now steps into a new role continuing to serve and protect his community.
