The Badge May Come Off, but the Impact Remains - Happy Retirement Sgt. Zimmers!

After 14 years of dedicated service, Auxiliary Sergeant Zimmers is retiring from the Lake County Sheriff's Office Auxiliary Deputy Unit, leaving behind a legacy defined by commitment, leadership, and tireless service to the community. A cornerstone of the unit’s IRT team, Sgt. Zimmers set the standard for auxiliary service, earning more recognition than any other member of the unit during his tenure.

His honors include Auxiliary Deputy of the Year, Top Hours, Top Call-Out Hours, and the prestigious James F. Crockett Award, a testament to both his work ethic and his impact. As he steps into a well-earned retirement, his influence will continue to be felt by those who served alongside him and the community he protected.
