"He is just what you ever would want in a leader." VLEOA 2025 Training Conference host, Sgt. Rich Aleksiejczyk is among 3 local law enforcement officers recognized by Quad Cities ABC Affiliate, WQAD.

After more than four decades in law enforcement, Sgt. Rich Aleksiejczyk has become a cornerstone of the community around the Scott County Sheriff's Office. As President of its Reserve unit, Aleksiejczyk has “worn many hats,” embodying dedication, leadership and humility in equal measure — and his work is now being highlighted in the WQAD “Beyond the Badge” series for inspiring others to serve.
