Twenty-nine newly trained Barbados Police Special Constables have recently completed their training and are preparing to begin their policing careers after graduating from Special Constable Training Course No. 29 at the Regional Police Training Centre in Christ Church. During the closing ceremony, the graduates were recognized for successfully completing an intensive eight-week training program designed to prepare them for the responsibilities of frontline policing. Acting Assistant Commissioner of Police Adrian Broomes challenged the new Special Constables to uphold the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and public service, emphasizing that policing is far more than a job—it is a commitment to serving as guardians of the public trust.
