The City of Englewood, Ohio, has named Police Chief Corey Follick as its next City Manager, capping a remarkable public service career that began more than two decades ago as a Reserve Police Officer.

Follick joined the City of Englewood in 1995 as a part-time public safety dispatcher before becoming a Reserve Police Officer in 2000. His dedication and leadership led to a full-time appointment as a police officer in 2003, followed by service as a School Resource Officer, promotion to Police Sergeant, appointment as Director and Chief of Police in 2023, and now selection as the city's chief administrative officer following a nationwide search.
