Retired Jefferson County Sheriff’s reserve deputy killed by son.

Deputy John “Tommy” McQuillen was shot and killed, allegedly by his son, Brandon McQuillen, who was arrested the next day. A suspicious package was also located at the crime scene, which was neutralized via controlled detonation.
