San Diego Volunteer Sheriff’s Patrol to conduct extra patrols around Ramona wineries.

The request for extra patrols comes after one business reported a theft of $13,500 in jewelry and two others reported suspicious persons the same night.

In addition to the reserve deputies, The Ramona Substation hosts a team of 28 Senior Volunteer Patrol members and 10 Mounted Patrol volunteers. Both volunteer patrols are looking for new members.
