Oshkosh Auxiliary Police Seeks Its Next Members

The Oshkosh Auxiliary Police are calling on community members to step forward and become their next volunteers. In a recent recruitment message, the unit encouraged prospective members to scan the application QR code and join a volunteer organization that has been supporting the Oshkosh Police Department and the community for more than six decades.

Founded in 1959, the Oshkosh Auxiliary Police were created to assist the Police Department at public functions involving large crowds and during disasters or emergency situations. Today, the Auxiliary continues to provide additional trained volunteer manpower, with members supporting the department during special events and, when needed, emergency situations.
